An analysis of academic production in Colombia regarding knowledge management in GCE educational settings in the period 2015-2018 is presented, taking as its axis the production of education programs. A documentary tracking was developed in university repositories and subsequent reading for its characterization supported by a documentary matrix and qualitative coding processes. It is found that the production associated with the issue of GCE in Colombia is not very broad and presents a trend directly associated with the knowledge management processes coming from the administration, with a strong presence of Information Technology and ICT Communication as transfer support elements, as well as little absence in the discussion regarding the systematization of the educational experience. Together they lead to an initial approach to the subject without major problems and scope, which accounts for the necessary discussion regarding this issue within organizations oriented to education from a perspective that articulates the epistemological discussion.
